Neil Urwin Photograph Collection
Neil Urwin is a Canberra based collector who has been collecting unpublished, private photos of aviation since the early 1960s. His collection is primarily focused on pre-1950s military aviation but he has selected items of Australian civil aviation interest for Connecting the Nation. He is gradually digitizing more collection items.
Airservices Australia Oral History Collection
These oral history interviews were made specifically for the Connecting the Nation project, and were undertaken by Professor Paul Ashton (University of Technology Sydney) and Mary Jill Bellhouse (Air Services Australia) in 2015. Airservices is continuing to collect oral history interviews with long serving staff to add to this unique civil aviation heritage resource.
CAHS Photographs Collection
This collection was contributed by the Civil Aviation Historical Society. It focuses on aircraft and airfields from the history of civil aviation in Australia. More information on the CAHS collection can be found on their site.
CAHS Oral History Collection
This extensive collection of oral history and other audio material was contributed by the Civil Aviation Historical Society. It is a unique collection containing material from as early as the 1950s. It includes many interviews from the 1980s and 1990s which have all been digitised by the volunteers of the CAHS. More information on the CAHS collection can be found on their site.
